With 36 years of proven track record in the construction industry, Kay Lim Construction has been awarded over $4.4 billion across both the private and public sectors. The company is recognized by the Building and Construction Authority as an A1 contractor for general building works and a B1 contractor for civil engineering projects.
Kay Lim has successfully managed a diverse array of projects, including private condominiums, schools, factories, lift upgrade projects, and the construction of more than 18,000 public housing units. Noteworthy achievements include Singapore’s first public housing eco-precinct development, Treelodge@Punggol, and Singapore’s first eco-business park building, CleanTech One.
The company has received multiple accolades for excellence in construction safety, quality, and sustainability. To date, it has won 24 WSH SHARP awards, along with the bizSAFE Partner, bizSAFE Star, and CultureSAFE award, recognising its dedication to workplace safety and health for employees, subcontractors, and partners.
Recently, the project Forest Spring @ Yishun was honored with the prestigious CONQUAS STAR and the HDB Construction Award, reflecting high quality standards, innovative construction techniques, and exceptional project management. Additionally, the company holds certifications in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018, a testament to proper project and quality management.
In 2010, we established another construction company, Jia Yi Construction Pte Ltd, which is also an A1 contractor for general building works. Jia Yi Construction is the contractor for Citylife@Tampines and recently completed Woodleigh Hillside, a 13 residential block project with a total of 1,355 units. The project was honored with the prestigious CONQUAS STAR and the HDB Construction Award, demonstrating excellence in construction quality, innovation, and project delivery.
Jia Yi Construction has earned various industry accolades, including the BCA Green and Gracious Builder Award, as well as commendations such as the CultureSAFE Certificate, bizSAFE Partner Certificate, and bizSAFE Star Certificate.
